Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Saint Paul, MN seeks an experienced nurse leader to oversee inpatient dialysis staffing and operations. The role emphasizes quality patient care, cost-conscious management, and compliance with hospital regulations.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with facility leadership, and drive initiatives to improve service delivery. The successful candidate has RN licensure, 3–5 years in related roles, and 3+ years of supervisory or project management experience.

Qualifications

• RN with current state licensure.
• 3-5 years related experience; supervisory or PM experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; advanced degree desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage tactical execution of short- and long-term objectives with direct responsibility for results, including costs, methods, and staffing.
• Monitor costs/spending in all areas including medical supply inventory, personnel and accounts payable; identify ways to reduce costs while maintaining quality.
• Ensure proper staffing and operations at all contracted facilities and efficient staff/patient scheduling.
• Provide leadership, coaching and development plans for all direct reports; partner with HR on employee matters.
• Hire, coach and counsel employees; conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with hospital regulations and participate in agency surveys; maintain QAI data and present to stakeholders.
• Interact with internal departments and external customers to resolve issues and represent the customer as industry expert.
• Oversee training programs; ensure dialysis and related services are provided as contracted.
• Coordinate maintenance, infection control measures, and equipment management in collaboration with Technical teams.
• Confer with relevant managers to secure continuous operation of acute treatments and improve efficiency.
• Support various projects and activities as assigned.
