Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Sciences or AMA-approved school
• ARRT-CT registration upon hire
• Licensed by Texas Medical Board (TMB) as a Medical Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire
• BLS Certification, by first day of employment

Responsibilities

• Review physician orders for accuracy and select the appropriate CT protocol.
• Screen patients for contrast allergies and contraindications; discuss urgent findings with radiologists.
• Perform CT exams, ensuring ALARA principles, proper labeling, and documentation of images.
• Assist the physician during procedures and ensure patient prep and safety throughout the exam.
