Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a CT Imaging Technologist to perform CT exams and support accreditation processes. You will work with physicians to ensure protocol adherence and maintain equipment while prioritizing patient safety.

Responsibilities include patient screening, contrast administration, assisting radiologists, and accurate documentation in the EHR. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; ARRT-CT and Texas licensure are required at hire.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Sciences or AMA-approved graduate.
• ARRT-CT certification and Texas Medical Board licensure required at hire.
• Basic Life Support certification by day one of employment.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review physician orders for accuracy and select CT protocol appropriately.
• Screen patients for allergies and contraindications; explain procedures.
• Assist radiologists and document changes in the EHR.
• Perform CT exams ensuring ALARA radiation safety principles.
• Conduct quality control, require maintenance of QA and accreditation standards.
