Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center seeks a CT Technologist (Inpatient, Part Time) to perform CT imaging exams under minimal supervision with physicians. You will review orders, screen patients, administer contrast when appropriate, and ensure proper documentation and QA within the department.

Requires ARRT-CT certification, Texas Medical Board licensure, and BLS. On-site, in Dallas, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences or graduate from AMA approved school.
• Licenses and Certifications: ARRT-CT, Registered Radiologic Technologist (Texas) Upon Hire, BLS certification (AHA/ARC) by first day of employment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review physician orders for accuracy and applicability to CT protocol.
• Screen patients for contrast allergies and contraindications; obtain history relevant to the exam.
• Perform CT exams following ALARA principles and ensure proper labeling of images.

Education

Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences

AMA approved school graduate
