Job summary

Qualifications

• AHIMA or AAPC credential required.
• One year of relevant coding experience in the last six months.
• Passing score of 80% on pre-employment tests.

Responsibilities

• Assigns ICD‑10‑CM and PCS codes for inpatient visits or ICD‑10 CM codes, EM levels, and surgical CPT codes for physician visits at production rates and 95%+ quality.
• Validates MS‑DRG or APC assignments as applicable.
• Abstracts clinical data appropriately.
• Mitigates coding-related claims scrubber edits.
• Tolerates short-term assignments for up to two clients.
• Participates in client and Savista meetings and training.
