Qualifications

• Two years of inpatient coding experience

Responsibilities

• Select and sequence ICD-10 CM and PCS codes for Acute Inpatient facilities.
• Review clinical records to ensure MS-DRG assignments reflect diagnoses and procedures.
• Abstract clinical data to support regulatory compliance and billing.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and participate in client meetings and calls.
• Stay current with ICD-10-CM/PCS guidelines and coding regulations.
