Job summary

Qualifications

• Active coding experience for the patient type being hired within the last six months.
• Active AHIMA or AAPC credential required.
• Passing score of 80% on pre-employment tests.

Responsibilities

• Assign ICD-10-CM and PCS codes for inpatient visits or ICD-10-CM codes for physician visits at production rates and high quality.
• Validate MS-DRG or APC assignments as applicable.
• Abstract clinical data and mitigate coding-related edits.
• Interact with client staff and Savista meetings as required.
