Job summary

Indiana University Health System in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a Part-time Inpatient Clinical Dietitian to deliver nutrition care to inpatients and outpatients, using the Nutrition Care Process and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s degree (or a Bachelor’s degree earned before 2024), 0–3 years of experience, and must obtain registration within 6 months and Indiana licensure within 1 year. On-call weekends/holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree is required or Bachelor's Degree prior to 2024.
• Registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration within 6 months of start date.
• Licensure through the state of Indiana within 1 year of start date.
• Ability to develop nutritional care plans and provide nutritional education.
• Competence in nutrition-focused physical exam and malnutrition documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provides optimal nutrition care for inpatients and outpatients, utilizing the Nutrition Care Process.
• Plans, organizes, implements and evaluates nutrition education tailored to patient needs.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes.
• On-call rotation required every other weekend and holidays.
