Job summary

BMCHS is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician III for Inpatient Pharmacy support. The role includes ensuring high quality patient-focused services and providing training oversight for Technicians I & II.

Candidate must be MA-registered, nationally certified (CPT or ExCPT), with at least four years of related experience and competency in pediatric chemo/IV preparation for inpatient operations.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the MA Board of Pharmacy.
• National certification CPT or ExCPT from PTCB or exam of Certified Pharmacy Techs.
• Minimum four years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient-focused pharmacy services.
• Train and oversee Pharmacy Technicians I & II.
• Maintain competency across outpatient pharmacy operations.
• Inpatient IV room competencies include Pediatric and Chemo IV.
