Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health in Spokane, WA is seeking a Mental Health Technician for the Calispel/Foothills Inpatient Units. This role supports adults with serious mental health disorders, provides supervision, meals, and daily activities while adhering to treatment plans.

The position requires active Nursing Assistant registration or certification, High School diploma, and BLS or willingness to obtain within 90 days. Weekend night shifts with differential are offered with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing Assistant Registration or Certification required at time of application.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise client activities and behaviors, including milieu supervision and patient rounding.
• Complete objective clinical documentation in a timely manner.
• Provide feedback to clinical staff regarding patient interactions and behaviors.
• Report changes in patient condition or crisis situations to charge nurse or unit leader.
• Adhere to written treatment plans and de-escalate as needed.
