Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide inpatient psychiatric care on a weekend night shift (Saturday & Sunday, 7 PM–7:30 AM). The role includes medication administration, following physicians’ orders, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team across Calispel and Foothills locations.

Applicants must hold an active WA RN license and BLS; inpatient psychiatric experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Effective communication with diverse groups and patients.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles in nursing.
• Proficient with electronic medical records and standard software.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor patient basic care within the RN scope.
• Medication administration, safety, and monitoring.
• Carry out physicians’ orders as assigned.
• Demonstrate leadership and productive teamwork within the scope of practice.
• Assist in delivering and updating care plans and patient education.
• Maintain professional nursing standards per facility policies and procedures.
• Comply with state WACs and document accurately.
