Job summary

Southwest Behavioral & Health Services in Phoenix, AZ seeks Direct Care Providers/Behavioral Health Technicians to join our inpatient division. You will provide screening, assessment, treatment planning, life skills training, and counseling services to individuals with serious mental illness in an inpatient setting.

Shifts include 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am. Qualifications include age 21+, various degree/experience options and MVR clearance. We are a non-profit provider committed to Empowered Belonging.

Qualifications

Minimum age 21.
HS Diploma/GED + 6 months behavioral health experience.
Related Associate's degree + 6 weeks behavioral health experience.
Non-related Associate's degree + 1 year behavioral health experience.
Related bachelor's degree.
Non-related bachelor's degree + 6 months relevant experience.
MVR clearance required.

Responsibilities

Provide screening, assessment and treatment planning.
Deliver life skills and pre-vocational training.
Documentation and case management.
Crisis intervention and individual/group counseling.
Work with SMI members in inpatient setting.
