Job summary

Covington Behavioral Health Hospital is a licensed 104-bed center focused on treating adults with acute changes in emotional and mental well-being. This role provides personal care services under clinical leadership and supports a safe, structured environment for patients.

You will conduct safety checks, document clinical information, assist with daily living activities, and help patients achieve treatment goals through group sessions and activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months or more experience working with the specific population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under clinical or nursing supervision.
• Ensure patient safety and deliver compassionate, professional care.
• Conduct safety checks and supervise patients at 15-minute intervals as required.
• Document clinical information in patient records accurately and timely.
• Assist with activities of daily living and daily routines.
• Interact with patients, observe behavior, and report to nursing staff.
• Facilitate educational and rehabilitative groups on social and coping skills.
• Complete required documentation and assist with incident reports.
• May coordinate or provide transportation for patients.
• Maintain a positive attitude and address complaints.
