Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's in social/health services preferred and two+ years of counseling experience.
• Bachelor's degree in another field requires four+ years counseling experience.
• Master's degree in social/health services with one+ year professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions and group/family sessions, under supervision, and document as required.
• May co-facilitate assigned groups and assist with modifying problem behaviors.
• May be responsible for initial and follow-up assessments for patients.
• Prepare individual treatment plans for assigned patients.
• Ensure all documentation regarding patient care, treatment and incidents is completed timely and clearly.
• Assist with modifying problem behaviors and provide counseling to families where applicable.
• Act as liaison between referral sources and patients.
• Provide crisis intervention to patients as needed.
• May plan for aftercare for assigned patient.
