Job summary

Covington Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a licensed social worker to plan, direct and coordinate therapeutic support for patients with behavioral and psychiatric needs. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university.
• Two or more years’ experience working with patient population preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessment of patient and develop an effective treatment plan.
• Coordinate patient cases and anticipate needs related to illness, hospitalization, finances, education and home/community services.
• Promote recovery, symptom reduction and highest level of social functioning.
• Manage patient charts and ensure documentation complies with standards.
