Job summary

Generations Healthcare's Lakeside Special Care in Lakeside, CA is seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician (LMFT/LCSW) for a full-time role. The position focuses on inpatient behavioral health care for adults, including assessments, treatment planning, and therapy delivery within a supportive care model.

You will supervise students, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and provide crisis response as needed while upholding HIPAA and professional standards in a compassionate setting.

Qualifications

• Masters or degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or closely related field.
• Approved to provide clinical supervision by the BBS.
• One year of behavioral health experience required.
• Current LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC license or AMFT/ASW trainee with BBS.
• CPR certification required or obtained within orientation period.
• Proficiency in verbal de-escalation and CPI/Pro-Act.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise AMFT, MSW, and PCC students alongside BH Clinical Director.
• Manage day-to-day tasks, scheduling, training and ensure program compliance.
• Conduct individual and group therapy using CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and provide treatment updates.
• Provide staff training on behavioral health topics.
• Conduct suicide risk assessment and care planning.
• Lead staff and patient debriefings and coach on coping strategies.
