The role reports to the Director of Social Services and involves collaboration with internal teams and external agencies to coordinate care, support transitions, and address crises.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited college or university.
• 1–2 years of direct service experience in acute behavioral health inpatient settings.
• Knowledge of psychiatric terminology, psychopharmacology, and behavioral health treatment principles.
• Ability to assess mental status and psychosocial needs; strong communication in English.
• Current CPR, BLS, and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment goals with the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based approaches.
• Coordinate discharge planning linking to outpatient services, housing, and community supports.
• Facilitate crisis interventions and provide clinical support during emergencies.
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in the EHR; ensure compliance with policies.
