Job summary

Lakeside Behavioral Health System in Memphis seeks a licensed clinical social worker to join our inpatient team. The Therapist provides psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participates in treatment planning, and coordinates discharge planning.

Candidates should have a Master’s in Social Work or related field, Tennessee licensure (LCSW/LPC preferred), and experience with psychiatric populations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Social Services related field required; licensure preferred.
• Prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting.
• TN LCSW, LPC, LP licensure preferred.
• Knowledge of case management, discharge planning, group leadership, and crisis management.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy.
• Participate in treatment team planning, processing commitments, and discharge planning/case management.
• Liaison with referral sources and hospital departments; crisis intervention as needed.
