Job summary

Lakeside Behavioral Health System is offering a Therapist position on a designated unit to deliver psychosocial assessments and therapy aligned with our patient-centered philosophy. The role includes treatment team planning, discharge planning and liaison work with referrals and hospital departments.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Social Work or related field and is experienced with psychiatric mental health populations, preferably in inpatient settings, with licensure preferred

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field is required.
• Experience with psychiatric mental health populations preferred, inpatient setting ideal.
• Licensure such as TN LCSW, LPC or LP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments.
• Provide individual, group and family therapy on designated units.
• Participate in treatment team planning and discharge planning/case management.
• Assist with processing commitments and crisis intervention.
• Liaise with referral sources and other hospital departments.
