Job summary

Lakeside Behavioral Health System seeks a Therapist to deliver clinical social work services on a designated unit, aligning with Lakeside's philosophy and objectives. Responsibilities include psychosocial assessments, individual/group/family therapy, and discharge planning.

The role requires flexibility across units serving varied populations, including inpatient and partial hospital settings, with supervision from social services leadership and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Social Services related field required, licensure preferred.
• Prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting.
• TN LCSW, LPC, LP preferred.
• Knowledge of case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management, family therapy theory and practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy.
• Participate in treatment team planning and discharge planning/case management.
• Offer crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and hospital departments.
