CommonSpirit Health's Mercy Hospital in Durango, CO seeks an inpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to provide a continuum of treatment for patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and other disorders under the indirect supervision of a licensed physical therapist. You will deliver strengthening, modalities, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and ADL retraining.

Qualifikationen

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Physical Therapy Assistant licensure required.
• BLS from the American Heart Association required.
• Valid Driver's License for home health positions.

Aufgaben

• Carry out a program of corrective treatments under indirect supervision of a licensed PT.
• Implement therapy activities with measurable goals and time frames.
• Perform ADL retraining, home safety education, equipment and compensation techniques, strengthening and neuromuscular reeducation.
• Communicate with supervising PT about patient status and plan modifications.
• Document per guidelines using proper grammar, spelling, and medical terminology.
• Communicate with patients, families, staff and physicians about services while maintaining confidentiality.
