Job summary

Temple Rehabilitation Hospital in Temple, TX is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our inpatient rehab team. This PRN position supports licensed physical therapists by delivering prescribed interventions to help patients regain function and mobility.

You will work in a 36-bed acute rehabilitation facility, coordinating with a rehab physician and multidisciplinary staff to provide high-quality care, documentation, and a safe, compassionate environment for recovery.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from PTA program.
• Current PTA license in state of practice.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
