Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking an experienced Inorganic (AA ICP ICP-MS) Sales Specialist to cover the OH and MI territories with a field remote role. You will present capabilities, manage accounts, and drive growth in inorganic product lines while traveling up to 50%. The role includes a company vehicle, laptop, and cell.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in analytical instrumentation sales and a chemistry-based degree, with strong knowledge of the capital equipment sales cycle and CRM workflows.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Chemistry or related field.
• 3-5 years direct sales experience selling analytical instrumentation.
• Must be able to travel 50%.
• Thorough understanding of business factors affecting account profitability and laboratory operations.
• Experience with analytical laboratory software and instruments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Grow Sales Volume. Execute a sales plan that is part of the region's and company's strategic objectives.
• Maintain an effective time and territory management plan, utilize CRM, and provide accurate forecasts.
• Cultivate partnerships with customers and suppliers to provide solutions using competitive offerings.
• Collaborate with regional sales, service teams, product specialists and business units to deliver high levels of customer service.
