SharkNinja in Needham, MA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to drive concept to mass production for haircare products. You’ll design, prototype, and validate innovative devices, working across R&D, ID, Marketing and Quality to deliver consumer‑focused solutions.

We value hands‑on engineers with CAD skills (Creo/SolidWorks), experience with injection molding, heat transfer, and a portfolio of prior designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5+ years in product design and development.
• Strong knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid flow.
• CAD proficiency with ProE/Creo or SolidWorks.
• Experience with injection molding and sheet metal forming.
• Portfolio of prior design work recommended.

Responsibilities

• Drive engineering design and development of cutting-edge products.
• Design and build prototypes for review, testing, and validation.
• Independently identify and solve a broad range of problems using an analytical approach.
• Lead cross-functional brainstorming sessions and encourage out-of-the-box thinking.
• Lead peer design reviews and critique new product concepts to drive improvements.
• Collaborate with R&D, ID, Marketing, and Quality to develop the next generation of products.
