SharkNinja in Needham, MA is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our NPD team, shaping motorized products from concept to market. This hands-on role blends prototyping, test, and system-level design in a collaborative, in-person environment. You’ll mentor engineers and interns, partner with Product and Engineering, and drive robust mechanical solutions that perform on store shelves and in infomercials.

The role requires a B.S. or M.S.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 5+ years in design and development.
• Prototyping experience including 3D printing, machining, and building robust assemblies.
• Lab experience running controlled experiments with test equipment.
• Strong CAD proficiency in SolidWorks or Creo.
• Ability to analyze test data and translate into design implications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop consumer products from concept through ongoing support.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Development to understand systems and tradeoffs.
• Lead cross-disciplinary brainstorming, prototyping, and testing of concepts.
• Guide and mentor a team of mechanical engineers, co-ops and interns.
• See products come to life on shelves and in campaigns.
