Franklin Public Schools is seeking a Long Term Substitute - Special Education Teacher for GOALS 1-2 at Lincoln Street K-2 Elementary School. The assignment runs approximately Nov 13, 2026 through Mar 25, 2027 with a daily rate of $250.

The successful candidate will foster a dynamic learning environment, align instruction with curriculum goals, and collaborate with staff to support student progress across GOALS 1-2.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Massachusetts DESE license at the appropriate grade level preferred.
• SEI Endorsement preferred.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and possess a high level of capability with technology.
• Well-developed understanding of the subject matter and pedagogy to teach the content area.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with all faculty & staff.

• Guides learning toward curriculum goals and establishes clear objectives.

• Maintains accurate records as required by policy and regulation.
• Supports administration in policy implementation and classroom management.
• Makes provisions to be available to students and parents outside instructional hours.
• Strives to maintain and improve professional competence.
