Qualifications

• Four-year degree and NM Secondary Teaching License (or ability to obtain) with endorsements for the courses being taught.
• Preferred: bilingual English/Spanish.
• At least one year of teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish course syllabi with clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects.
• Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Deliver standards-based social studies instruction and use the Canvas platform for assignments.
• Proctor assessments and track student progress; use data to inform instruction.
• Advise a group of students and meet families to plan courses for the next semester.
