Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, in Nashua, NH, is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join our high-speed connector team. You will help design next-generation products, collaborate with EE, Mechanical Integrity, and NPI teams, and ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness for high-volume production.

This role offers exposure to diverse engineering disciplines and opportunities for leadership as projects mature.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with solid modeling/CAE/CAD tools (Pro/E, SolidWorks).
• Understanding of GD&T and FEA tools.
• Ability to travel ~10% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components for high-speed connectors.
• Collaborate with Signal Integrity and Mechanical Integrity teams to ensure design performance and reliability.
• Develop product specifications and technical documentation for manufacturability and cost efficiency.
• Support DFM, prototyping, and production tooling activities across global sites.
