Job summary

Easterseals Hawaii seeks a Physical Therapist to support families in early intervention using a Primary Service Provider model and evidence-based coaching. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement EI services in natural environments and coordinate care with families and staff.

The role emphasizes collaboration, cultural responsiveness, and adaptability, with in-person work at multiple sites and a focus on outcomes and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Hawaii state Physical Therapy license.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification.
• One year minimum experience in providing PT service preferred.
• Experience with developmental delays in early intervention preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to DOH-EIS, CARF and ESH guidelines.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate EI program for children birth to 3.
• Participate as evaluator on EI multidisciplinary team; support families.
• Administer and interpret physical/sensory/developmental assessments.
• Develop IFSP with family and team; create functional outcomes.
