Job summary

Easterseals Hawaii is seeking a Physical Therapist to support families in early intervention under a Primary Service Provider model. The role involves conducting PT assessments, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and guiding families to implement functional outcomes in natural environments.

The ideal candidate has a Hawaii PT license, First Aid/CPR, and experience with early intervention or developmental delays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Hawaii license in Physical Therapy.
• First Aid and CPR certification is required.
• One year of experience in providing physical therapy to young children is preferred.
• Experience with early intervention and family coaching approaches is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to DOH-EIS, CARF, and ESH guidelines.
• Participates in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate EI for birth to age three.
• Collaborates with IFSP team to develop functional outcomes for families.
• Administers and interprets PT assessments and related evaluations.
• Provides coaching to families using a Primary Service Provider model.
• Maintains records per federal/state and ESH requirements.
• Works in natural environments and participates in meetings and events.
