Job summary

The Resort at Pelican Hill, located in Irvine, CA, is seeking an Assistant Manager Innovation Mgr., Workplace Strategy & Design to oversee guest dining service and develop innovative strategies for the workplace.

You will coordinate with kitchen and FOH teams, maintain service standards, and contribute to design initiatives. Prior restaurant service experience and strong attention to detail are required, with flexible scheduling in a luxury resort environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one (1) year experience working as a Server.
• Must be 21 years of age or over.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team player with all restaurant staff.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and notify kitchen of order following department procedures.
• Explain menu items, including food content and preparation style.
• Be familiar with daily specials and present to guest.
• Ensure consistency in preparation and presentation of food and drink items before serving to guest.
• Follow all standard food handling, sanitation and health department guidelines.
• Process guest checks and handle cash, room charges, or credit cards.
• Maintain open communication with Culinary staff and FOH Management.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as scheduled.
