Job summary

Onnit, a Texas-based health and wellness company, is seeking a Senior Director to lead the end-to-end innovation pipeline for supplements and functional nutrition. You will bridge R&D and Brand, evaluating new ingredients, formats, and hero-product renovations while ensuring a strong commercial case behind each launch.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will guide cross-functional teams, influence senior leadership, and drive a cadence of launches to support a 2027 expansion plan.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in CPG innovation, NPD or R&D, with multiple products taken from concept to launch.
• Experience in supplements, functional or sports nutrition, or a closely related category.
• Strong scientific literacy; ability to read and judge a clinical study and explain what it proves.

Responsibilities

• Own the ingredient opportunity map and prioritize ingredients to shape total human optimization.
• Lead evidence reviews on dose, delivery, and safety with formulators and scientific advisors.
• Build a rolling 12–18 month product roadmap balancing extensions and renovations with bigger bets.
• Lead cross-functional launch teams and manage timelines, packaging, labeling, and supply readiness.
