Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking an Innovation Research Assistant for Worcester, MA, on a hybrid or remote basis. This full-time role supports the Business Innovation team by delivering market, competitive, and technology intelligence to inform strategic decisions.

You will lead structured vendor evaluations, coordinate BrokerTech Ventures intake, and share insights across business and technology leaders, translating complex data into actionable narratives for executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or IT preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including presenting findings to stakeholders.
• Ability to understand the big picture.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market, competitive and technology intelligence research.
• Synthesize insights into clear, actionable intelligence for leadership.
• Lead structured vendor evaluations and due diligence.
• Coordinate BrokerTech Ventures intake and feedback loops.
• Consolidate insights to reduce silos and share knowledge across teams.
• Prepare executive-level briefings and translate complex data into narratives.
