Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. in Worcester, MA is seeking an Innovation Lead in Risk Solutions to drive strategic innovation initiatives across Core Commercial, Specialty, Personal Lines, and Premium Audit.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage projects from strategy through execution, monitor progress, and translate data and insights into actionable solutions in collaboration with underwriting, operations, IT, and external vendors.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in market research, project management, and/or competitive intelligence.
• Prior Property and Casualty insurance preferred.
• Strong research, collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills to identify and implement innovative solutions.
• Demonstrated analytical, organizational, decision-making, and project management skills.
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and related data tools proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of innovation projects and pilots from strategy through ideation and execution.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to realize outcomes and sustain organizational changes.
• Monitor project status using suitable methods and manage resources and scope.
• Communicate milestone status and provide direction in regular stakeholder meetings.
• Motivate and lead project teams to achieve objectives.
• Oversee enrollment processes and manage device tracking and service terminations for non-renewed policies.
