Job summary

Berklee College of Music in Boston seeks a Center for Innovation and Impact Student Assistant to support program development, research, communications, and operations. The role reports to the Managing Director and helps expand the Center's reach across the Berklee community.

You will assist with researching trends, creating content, managing events, and coordinating materials. This position offers hands-on experience in entrepreneurship and the creative industries, with an estimated 12–16 hours

Qualifications

• Current Berklee student in good academic standing.
• Strong organizational, research, and information-gathering skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional, dependable, responsible, and able to meet deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a developing and evolving environment.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with the Managing Director and other Berklee stakeholders.
• Strong working knowledge of productivity and collaboration tools such as Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and digital communication.
• Interest in innovation, entrepreneurship, technology, business, or the creative industries.

Responsibilities

• Assist with program development, research, and organizing new Center initiatives.
• Help develop and maintain the Center’s online and digital presence, including social media and content strategy.
• Assist with planning, promotion, and execution of Center programs, events, and workshops.
• Provide project and administrative support to the Managing Director, including timelines and databases.
• Help document and promote Center activities before, during, and after events.
• Support outreach to students and Berklee stakeholders about Center opportunities.
