Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Innovation and Design Engineer to lead complex design initiatives for world‑class fulfillment centers and logistics systems. You will own projects end‑to‑end, collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver high‑quality, cost‑effective solutions across North America and Europe.

You will interface with suppliers, guide from concept to approval, and support installation and commission of systems, with exposure to green‑field, brown‑field, and retrofit projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing engineering design projects.
• 3+ years in design/innovation, R&D, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Own multiple projects from concept through design approval.
• Serve as primary technical contact for suppliers on projects.
• Hand off completed designs to Ops Engineering for installation and commissioning.
• Support installation, commissioning and successful launch of systems.
