Job summary
Amazon’s Worldwide Design and Engineering team in Nashville is seeking an Innovation and Design Engineer to architect world-class fulfillment centers and logistics systems. You will own multiple projects from concept through design approval and serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers, ensuring smooth hand-off to Ops engineering for installation and commissioning.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any domain) or foreign equivalent, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of Design/Innovation, research & development, manufacturing, process, industrial engineering, or related experience.
- Master's degree in Engineering (any domain) or foreign equivalent, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making.
- Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems and high-speed manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Own multiple projects from concept realization through design approval.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers on your projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design cost-effective fulfillment and distribution systems.
