Job summary

The University of New Mexico is seeking a student undergraduate Program Assistant for the InMED initiative at the Center for Native American Health (CNAH). The role focuses on data collection, recordkeeping, and outreach activities to recruit and engage Native American students in health education programs.

Responsibilities include coordinating data, developing spreadsheets, supporting dissemination of findings, and assisting with events and training.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a federally recognized Tribe, Pueblo, or Nation.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Data Collection and Coordination: Assist with data collection activities and coordinate with the InMED evaluation team to ensure efficient data management, including managing social media content as needed.
• Recordkeeping and Spreadsheet Development: Maintain accurate records of program activities and outcomes; develop and manage spreadsheets to track program metrics and progress.
• Scholarly Collaboration: Work with the CNAH-InMED project team on scholarly product development by conducting literature searches/reviews and organizing references.
• Additional Duties: Provide technical and logistical support for CNAH and InMED activities, meetings, and events.
