The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center Office for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (HSC DEI) is seeking an experienced Program Specialist to support statewide health career pathway programming through the C2C initiative. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; at least six years of related experience.
• Completed degrees above minimum education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience in program planning and execution, recruitment, and outcomes reporting.
• Experience with grant-related programs and managing program budgets.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and executes programs to achieve the department's mission and goals.
• Oversees day-to-day operations of multiple programs within HSC DEI.
• Liaises with internal and external stakeholders for program activities; represents UNM regionally and nationally.
• Assists with budgeting and identification of funding opportunities, including grant proposals.
• Provides guidance on program frameworks and curriculum with partners.
• Creates materials and presentations to promote and support program activities.
• Collects data and assists with narrative program reports for stakeholders.
