Qualifications

• Two years of clerical or correctional custodial experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
• You must meet the PA residency requirement.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
• You must pass a background investigation and CJIS compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Record Maintenance: Collect and review information from multiple sources to keep inmate records accurate.
• Information Review: Cross-reference records, court documents, and related information to verify accuracy and support record updates.
• Inmate Processing: Interviewing, photographing, and fingerprinting inmates while gathering required information and explaining procedures.
• Data Entry: Enter approved record changes into tracking systems and relay required information to staff and partner agencies.
• Transport Support: Assist with arrangements for inmate transportation and releases while confirming authorizations and identification requirements.
