Qualifications

• Knowledge of large volume records management and techniques.
• Awareness of agency policies and state/federal laws related to sentence calculation.
• Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
• Ability to perform arithmetical computations and maintain inmate/offender records.
• Experience organizing data for entry into shared databases and using computer software.

Responsabilités

• Ensures accurate maintenance of confidential inmate/offender records and sentence data.
• Develops contacts with court staff and law enforcement for inmate-related sentences.
• Calculates sentences for parole and discharge eligibility, including adjustments for good time.
• Oversees notices relating to release, transfers, and related processes.
• Compiles criminal records and communicates with FBI and state agencies.
• Directs unit work for accuracy and supportive reporting.
• Assists in generating current statistics and monthly/annual reports.
