Job summary

Centerline Logistics seeks an experienced marine operations leader to supervise Captains and deck crews across inland towing operations. You will participate in inspections, ensure SIRE readiness, and develop cost-control procedures for vessels.

Role requires 5+ years as Master on inland towing vessels, maritime education, and strong leadership. You will interface with customers and manage scheduling, training, and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience as Master on Inland towing vessels or equivalent.
• College education in Maritime or related field or equivalent experience.
• Valid Coast Guard Master of Towing for Inland/Western Rivers or tow endorsement.
• Minimum two years shoreside vessel management experience.
• STCW certification preferred and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Captains, Mates, and Deck Crews across inland towing operations.
• Conduct inspections, ensure SIRE readiness, and manage safety programs.
• Schedule SIRE inspections and coordinate with customers on projects.
• Develop operating procedures and cost-control measures for vessels.
• Interface with clients and lead incident investigations when needed.
