Job summary

Agfa Inkjet Solutions in Milwaukee seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, repair and maintain our inkjet printing systems at customer sites. You will verify electrical and environmental safety, test operation, and ensure customer training during installation.

You should have an associate degree in electronics technology and 2-3 years in a high-tech field, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics technology or equivalent.
• 2-3 years in a high-tech field, preferably printing/inkjet.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Problem analysis and judgment.
• Remote diagnostics experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair Agfa products at customer sites with safety checks.
• Perform preventive maintenance and service on SMA and related equipment.
• Document calls, expenses and time, and report to the zone office.
• Order parts and manage repairable spare components.
• Coordinate with scheduler to meet response time and uptime goals.
• Promote Agfa offerings such as System Maintenance Agreements.
