Job summary

Fluid Color, LLC. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain our industrial digital inkjet systems at customer sites across North America. You will work hands-on with mechanical, electrical, software, and automation components to maximize uptime and performance.

Travel 50–75% is required to support installations and service across the region. A technical degree or related certification, strong problem-solving skills, and customer-facing experience are

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years servicing industrial equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technical reporting tools.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a passport.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and validate industrial digital printing systems and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, fluid handling, and software issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and system optimization services.
• Diagnose print quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
• Train customer operators and maintenance personnel on equipment operation.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Document service visits, maintenance, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to identify product improvements.
• Manage service parts inventory and company tools.
• Respond to customer service requests professionally.
• Travel throughout North America for installations, maintenance, and emergency service.
