Job summary

Agfa-Gevaert Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support imaging systems and inkjet equipment in Milwaukee and Northern Illinois. You will install, service, and repair stand-alone Agfa products and peripheral hardware, ensuring uptime and customer satisfaction.

Requires an associate degree in electronics and 2–3 years of high-tech field experience; strong communication skills and remote diagnostics ability are essential. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics technology or equivalent.
• 2–3 years’ experience in high-tech printing/inkjet environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Remote diagnostics experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair Agfa products and peripherals at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and service calls.
• Maintain clear communication with regional managers and schedulers.
• Document service calls, expenses and time verbatim and timely.
• Ensure parts ordering and return of repairable components.
