Job summary

Inteplast Group seeks an Ink Technician A to support color matching, formulation and small‑batch ink blending at the Orlando, FL site. This second shift role requires meticulous record-keeping and strong customer-facing communication.

You will operate dispensing software and color-matching tools, maintain safety and housekeeping, and provide technically sound press-side service to meet customer specifications and schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience driving a forklift preferred.
• Industry experience 5–7 years.
• Customer-facing role with strong written communication.
• Ability to weigh and adjust batches with good math skills.
• Creative problem-solving skills are essential.
• Must ensure consistent attendance and willingness to work non-standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Produce and quality control inks to ensure inks meet or exceed the customer’s specifications.
• Maintain detailed production and QC records.
• Perform color matching and formulation.
• Identify rework opportunities based on batch tickets.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe operations.
• Provide strong press side technical support and reporting.
• Plan daily ink production schedule and inventory control; implement action plans for best practices.
• Provide technical guidance to resolve press room issues and train others.
