Sun Chemical in Senoia, GA is seeking an Ink Inplant Tech II to provide on-site color matching, formulation, and small-batch blending with minimal supervision. You will ensure ink quality aligns with customer specs and support production coordination at the customer site.

The role requires 3+ years of industry experience, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to lift 50 lbs. daily, with proficiency in MS Word/Excel/Outlook and color matching software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with ink color matching and formulation.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. throughout the day.
• Minimum 3+ years in the ink/related industry.
• Customer-facing role requiring strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce and QC inks to meet customer specifications.
• Perform color matching and formulation.
• Maintain production and QC records.
• Coordinate production with the customer's schedule.
• Identify and execute rework opportunities from batch tickets.
• Provide press-side technical service and detailed reporting.
• Maintain monthly and weekly CTS/Sales reporting.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe operations.
• Lift up to 50 lb buckets and move 500 lb drums per procedures.
