Job summary

Inteplast Group in Orlando is seeking an Ink Technician A for second shift to support color matching, formulation, and small-batch blending on-site at the customer location. The role emphasizes quality control and detailed record-keeping to meet customer expectations.

You will provide timely technical service at the press, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to monthly and weekly reports to CTS and Sales, while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards and accommodating non-standard hours.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Experience driving a forklift preferred.
• Industry experience 5-7 years.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication required.
• Good mathematical skills for weighing and batching.
• Ability to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Ability to manage stress and maintain professional interactions.

Responsibilities

• Produce and quality control inks to meet customer specs.
• Maintain detailed production and QC records.
• Perform color matching and formulation.
• Identify rework opportunities from batch tickets.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe operations.
• Provide press-side technical support.
• Maintain monthly and weekly reporting to CTS and Sales.
• Plan daily ink production schedule based on customer press schedule and inventory.
• Provide root-cause analysis and training for resolutions.
