Job summary

Sun Chemical, a member of the DIC Group, is seeking a Tech II Inplant at Evergreen Plant City (7128) on-site for the third shift (10:00 pm–6:00 am). Under minimal supervision, provide intermediate color matching, formulation, and small batch blending support at the customer location.

Responsibilities include ink production and QC, color matching, record-keeping, production coordination, and clear reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook and color match software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb. throughout the day.
• 3+ years of industry experience.
• Customer-facing role requiring strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce and QC inks to meet customer specifications.
• Perform color matching and formulation.
• Maintain detailed production and QC records.
• Coordinate production with the customer's schedule.
• Identify and implement rework opportunities based on batch tickets.
• Provide press-side technical service and detailed reporting.
• Maintain monthly and weekly reports to CTS and Sales.
