Tire Discounters is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Coordinator to serve as the primary contact for injured employees, manage claims, and ensure compliant, timely processing. This role collaborates with managers, healthcare providers, and insurers to coordinate case management and maintain accurate records.

The position requires knowledge of workers’ compensation regulations, experience with claims systems, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of workers’ compensation administration experience.
• Experience with claims management systems and coordinating with third-party administrators.
• Degree preferred; equivalent combined experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Execute established workers’ compensation policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align program with regulatory requirements.
• Investigate and process claims with assigned case workers.
• Ensure reporting/recordkeeping complies with regulations.
• Serve as primary contact for injured employees through the claims process.
• Coordinate with managers, medical providers and insurers on case management.
• Analyze accident reports to identify trends and propose safety measures.
• Maintain confidential records of claims and treatment authorizations.
• Support return-to-work programs and liaise with third-party administrators.
• Stay current on federal/state regulations and industry trends.
• Provide training and communications on safety and the workers’ compensation process.
